Bongwi The Great

That was in 1980 after the war when this so younger man from rural Mt.Darwin went to Kwekwe to stay with his uncle.He was enrolled at a Primary School named Ruvimbo in Kwekwe.
On his first day at this school pupils who had not seen real war gather around him to hear war experience in Mt.Darwin from 1972 to 1979.

After he had explained to his new friends one guy shouted to him saying Bongwi Bongwi.Everyone later joined the chorus Bongwi Bongwi that how he got his trade name Bongwi.That was in January 1980 at Ruvimbo School grounds.
